We believe in functional and sustainable fitness. We operate in a fundamental and organic environment where you will not find elaborate weight machines or cardio equipment. We have a traditional, athletic, grassroots approach to training. We believe that fitness is a lifestyle not just a gym. AX Fitness exists solely because of our dedicated members. Our clients believe that this program provides them with a level of fitness that nothing else can. Start-up costs were loaned or donated by our members. Our dedicated members have developed a supportive, fun, and hard-working community.
Christine Jaques developed the AX Fitness program in 2011 when she was an adult fitness trainer at Acceleration Minnesota Sports Training Center in Arden Hills, MN. In late 2013, Christine opened her own studio and moved AX Fitness to Southeast Minneapolis. Christine designed AX to offer a total body workout that increases functional strength, cardio capacity, muscular endurance, and metabolic rate. Our training utilizes MAX interval training by creatively implementing a variety of body weight and bootcamp style exercises. Workouts change each week so that your body doesn't plateau and you continue to see and feel results.
